My favorite onigiri place. At this point, I go more often for the rice balls than the bread. There is usually a line that moves very quickly, and if they are out of a flavor, they usually make your order within 5-10 minutes, if you're willing to wait. I recommend mentai and spam. I thought it very interesting that they literally put a gyoza (wrapper and all) in the gyoza onigiri. Fyi, the spicy tuna-anything is really spicy. There are 2 other places in the same plaza that sells onigiri, but Clover is the only one with a line. I think that says a lot.

I was driving back to LA from Silicon Valley and realized there weren’t many places open early, so I stopped by Clover Bakery to grab a few things for the road I picked up salmon and eel onigiri, a couple of Japanese-style breads, and one of the fish-shaped pastries. It’s definitely more of a bakery and grab-and-go spot, which was exactly what I needed that morning The onigiri was the best part for me. The rice was soft and fluffy, and it tasted much fresher than I expected. For around $3, it felt like a really good deal, especially compared with what breakfast usually costs around here The breads were good too and had that simple Japanese bakery style that’s hard to find at regular American bakeries. Nothing too fancy, just comforting and easy to take with you Overall, a solid little stop and super convenient if you’re heading south from Silicon Valley. I’d definitely stop by again for the onigiri

Clover is a local gem. Their bakery items are good quality and at very good price. A hot dog bun is only $2.5. Their wheat bread bund are very good. Their fresh cream strawberry cake is really good and is incredibly cheap. It is very popular, expect a wait. On a Sunday I stopped by around 9:45am and there was a line of 20+ people.

This place is great for quick bites of Japanese breads and pastries. Loved the collection of different varieties of breads and all of them tasted really good. I tried their vegetarian bread and they have great vegetarian options. The price is affordable and highly recommend if you wanted to grab something quick for a snack or even a meal.

I went on a Saturday morning so it was a bit busy. You have to wait in line to go in because they only allow a certain amount of people inside. Honestly I didn’t mind this because it gave people the opportunity to look without feeling rushed or cramped. Some people follow rules and some don’t so when it got cramped people just got into the checkout line. That took from the atmosphere of the store because it did get cramped. Not the businesses fault it’s the customers who need to be more respectful of the business. Aside from that everything went smoothly. Customer service was 100/10 very welcoming and helped checkout quickly but effectively. My husband and I traveled to Japan and loved the bakery’s. This spot took us back!! Very fresh bread! You can tell they put a lot of effort into the flavors here. We got a bunch of different breads including the onigiri and everything was perfect. I’ll definitely be coming back 😊
